CELEBRATING 70 YEARS OF CAROL
Carol is always the brightest smile & most delightful laugh in the room, always doing for others, and a source of unending care and support. She is one of the smartest people I know and she can do anything-start and run a highly successful foundation, upholster, give the greatest parties, raise three fabulous children, be the most wonderful wife, mom, grandmother, sister, daughter and friend, & wow, would she be a fabulous POTUS!

This might have been Carol’s birthday celebrated at the Women’s Exchange! From left to right is Jenny, Leslie, Maureen, and Joann. Candace is taking the picture. Give Carol our love!

When John would walk in from outside, and I would be on the phone roaring with laughter, he would say, “That must be Carol!” We always tried to find something good about most things. Through thick and thin, we have been together regardless of distance, and I am very thankful for this. Carol is a true friend, and I am very grateful to have her in my life.

Carol was by far the most encouraging to the pledges in a day when hazing was still the norm. Her graciousness was legendary from the time I met her.
